I would firstly like to acknowledge the Awabakal peoples, the traditional owners of the land. I'm thankful to be able to spend every day skating, swimming and adventuring in this beautiful paradise. I recognise and respect that I am on stolen soil and the hundreds of years of dispossession indigenous people have gone through. I recognise their continuing culture and connection to the land, water and community. I would also like to pay my respects to the Elders of the Awabakal people, past, present and emerging.
